Sunday Kids Worship – 1st-5th grade during the 10:50 Service.
On Sundays our lessons are based on three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52; Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
CBC Kids Church starts with some fellowship, hang time and games as children arrive. Moving into our large group time, complete with worship experience, music, fun video elements Bible story and prayer. We then break into smaller groups for life application activities which help kids connect insights and principles to the real world.
AWANA Wednesdays – We invite you to join us for Awana, a Bible-Based curriculum that advocates the spiritual development of boys and girls across all types of communities and cultures.
We pack a lot into an hour from memorizing scripture, large group Bible time, exciting games, theme nights and MORE! Each child receives a handbook for home use and provides lessons that kids learn during the week helping them memorize and understand the Bible.
Partner with Parents
to make disciples
who love God and love others.
The Calvary Kids Ministry is a Gospel-Centered family ministry that seeks to see Kids and their Parents transformed by the Gospel through Discipleship, Community, Worship, and Missions.
Why Gospel Centered?
The short answer is because the Gospel impacts every area of life and ministry. God’s redemptive plan for you and I is centered in the Gospel. Therefore, if everything we do is centered around that Gospel we can guarantee that we are seeking life altering transformation not just behavior modification and that our activities and events are more than “fun” but are being used as a tool for kingdom growth.
Why Family Ministry?
I firmly believe that parents should be the primary faith influencer of their children. Our responsibility as the church is to come along side parents and encourage, train, and equip them to carry out this divine responsibility. If we are solely focused on kids and not on wholistic family ministry then we run the risk of usurping this vital role that parents are to play in the spiritual life of their children.
