We are excited that your child/children are attending VBS 2021 at Calvary Shreveport! We wanted to give you some information about this upcoming week! VBS is Sunday-Wednesday Night from 6pm-8pm with Wednesday Night being Family Night! There will be a free meal starting at 5pm in our dome at the back of campus.
Sunday Night: Pulled Pork Sandwich, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, and Banana Pudding
Monday Night: Spaghetti and Meatballs, Salad, Garlic Bread, and Brownies
Tuesday Night: Shrimp Po-boys or Cold Cut Subs, Chips, Macaroni Salad, and Angel food Cake
Wednesday Night: Build Your Own Tacos, Rice, Beans, Chips & Salsa, Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars
Drop off for VBS will not begin until 5:45pm and will take place in the Sanctuary. Please stay with your child during the meal time.
Drop-off and Pick-up: Please check-in your child with one of our volunteers with iPads standing at the doors entering the Sanctuary. You will receive two tags when you check-in. One tag will stick on the back of your Childs shirt and the other will stay with you. The security tag that you receive will need to be shown at pick-up in order for us to release your child too you. If you loose your security tag you will need to show government issue ID that matches the your name that will be printed on the back of your Childs tag. When arriving for pick-up please stand in line in the area marked for pickup in the foyer.
Wednesday Night is Family night! This will be a fun night for our VBS kids AND their parents. Please join us at 5pm for a “Build your own Taco Bar” followed by a large group rally in our Sanctuary at 6pm as your children sing songs for you and we have a great time all together. Following the large group rally in the sanctuary we will have inflatables setup for all our kids to enjoy! Parents will need to be with their children the entire evening.
If your child is experiencing any cold or flu symptoms please keep them at home.
