Parent  Resources

We know how hard it can be to have time to download a document, read it and then sit down and have a conversation with your students about the Bible or what they are learning on Sunday and Wednesday nights. So, in an effort to provide a useful resource to you, as parents, we have created a weekly podcast called “Family Follow Up”! In this podcast Episodes will be broken into Sunday content and Wednesday content. In each episode I will read the main passage, give a summary of what we taught and give some prompt questions for you and your student to discuss! All of this in 10mins or less. Check it out!
This is a CBC Student EXCLUSIVE resource! It provides parents of students a way to know what is begin taught to their students on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights and in our Small Group times. We want to remind you why what you do is so important. To help you focus on what matters most. To discover parenting along with you, so you know you’re not in this alone. Not all at once. Just little by little. So week by week, we will cue you so you can make the most of the weeks you have with your kids before graduation.
We are a network of brave parents who empower & equip others to intentionally develop & train children to have strong character & integrity.  We believe brave parenting is doing the right thing even when it is hard. While it seems our children would rather be raised by the internet, the truth is they need strong and courageous parents who will invest in their character. To be frank, we’d like to change the world. Or at the least a generation who’s moral character is quickly fading. Just as the bravery of Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land, so too will the bravery of  parents today lead our children into a place of freedom.

We think the media and technology industries should put kids’ needs first when they create and market their products and services. Since that is all too often not the case, we believe there should be clear policies and regulations to hold these industries accountable. We advocate on behalf of kids on a wide range of issues, including the educational impact of technology, protecting kids’ privacy online, and improving the impact of media on child health and development.
