Prayer and Fasting Week Two
Sunday, we talked about how the fast God has chosen for you will allow your light to break forth like the dawn and your righteousness to go before you.
Ephesians 5:8 says “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
Ephesians 5:1 tells us to “be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children, and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
This week our fasting focus is asking the Holy Spirit to help you let go of anything in your life that could be dimming the light of your testimony. The two purposes for living a life that reflects your devotion to God are:
